Managing Director, Willis Towers Watson

At Willis Towers Watson, Amanda Scott is the Head of the Talent and Rewards business in the UK and is based in London. She leads a team of over 300 Talent and Rewards consultants across a range of solutions in Talent Management and Rewards, Executive Compensation, Communication & Change Management, Technology and Global Data Services. Amanda is also a Global Client Relationship Director with responsibility for developing successful client relationships with global companies.

She is also the CEO/Founder of Mike’s Mates, a mental health charity in the UK. Additionally, Amanda is a Board Member for Global Women 4 Wellbeing (GW4W) and the Viviana Durante Ballet Company. She is a volunteer at Inspiring the Future, a STEM Ambassador and is an active member of the UK Game Changer Network. Amanda was also named as a Top 100 HERoes Future Leader from Yahoo Finance, and as one of the UK 50 Leading Lights awarded for leadership & kindness from Women of the Future.

Her geographical expertise is primarily in EMEA and the US, with additional educational experience in China, India and Ecuador. Unique experiences include assignments in Nanjing, China for the Dingman Centre for Entrepreneurship; Mumbai, Bangalore and New Delhi for a globalisation of finance study; and the Galapagos and Amazon Rainforest as a biologist studying with a shaman.

Amanda graduated with an MBA in Management & Organization, and Finance from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. There she was the 2007 President and 2006 Vice President of Finance of the Board of Directors for the Part-Time MBA Association. Additionally, she holds a BA in Natural Sciences from Johns Hopkins University.
